Officially registered with the Ministry of Interior and operating under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation (MOSVY), SEVA was established to address rural poverty, education gaps, and food security. By transforming underutilized public spaces into productive vegetable gardens, SEVA empowers communities through agro-gardening training, educational initiatives, and economic opportunities. Over the years, SEVA has expanded its reach through strategic partnerships, ensuring long-term impact and resilience in Cambodia’s most underserved areas.
The Mechai Foundation is a Thai non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable rural development, education, and poverty alleviation. Founded by Mechai Viravaidya, the foundation focuses on empowering communities through innovative social and economic initiatives. It operates the Mechai Bamboo School, a groundbreaking rural education model that integrates sustainability, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement into its curriculum.
The Population and Community Development Association (PDA) is one of Thailand’s most recognized NGOs, dedicated to poverty reduction, community empowerment, and sustainable development. Founded in 1974 by Mechai Viravaidya, PDA pioneered family planning programs and later expanded into education, entrepreneurship, public health, and environmental sustainability initiatives. PDA is known for its innovative, community-driven solutions, such as income-generating projects, microfinance programs, and vocational training to uplift rural communities. PDA’s success in social enterprise models has made it a global leader in community-based development strategies.
Prime Road Alternative (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., established in 2019 by Thailand's Prime Road Group, is a key player in Cambodia's renewable energy sector. The company developed and operates a 60-megawatt solar photovoltaic power plant in Kampong Chhnang Province, as part of the Cambodia National Solar Park initiative. This project, supported by the Asian Development Bank, aims to enhance Cambodia's energy infrastructure and promote sustainable development.
The Cambodian Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY) is responsible for social welfare, veterans’ affairs, and youth rehabilitation across Cambodia.
